Lamaze Childbirth Education®:
Evidence-based childbirth education to prepare you for your best birth! Beyond breathing, Lamaze provides solid practices and education for understanding the process of labor and delivery, and tools to help navigate birth in any setting. We discuss anatomy/physiology of pregnancy, comfort measures, interventions, postpartum, nursing, and breath work.
$100/couple (mother plus support) for the 4 week course (12 hours; 3 hours per week)
$150/couple for the weekend intensive (12 hours; Fri/Sat)
Price includes materials and snacks; continental breakfast included for weekend class.
Must bring pillows (2-3) and snacks; 6 couples maximum.

This intense course is a non-traditional childbirth course that examines the heart and soul of pregnancy, labor, birth and the postpartum period through the intimacy of relationships, rather than the just physiological processes. Go beyond the intellectual and learn how to connect sensually and emotionally with pregnancy, labor, birth and parenthood through this dynamic course!
